As another year comes to a close, I just wanted to say thank you for the opportunity to work at Gold Star. I feel very fortunate to not only have a job, but one that I really enjoy. The environment that you have been able to generate has made coming to work rather enjoyable. There are sometimes exceptions to the rule, but overall I don’t think I could ask for much more.

Working for Gold Star Financial has been a great experience. Being in the mortgage business for over 15yrs I have seen a lot. I can truly say that as a company we are continuing to be on the cutting edge of new products and services that will be truly beneficial to our clients and referral partners. The company functions with the family atmosphere that always seems to ask, what’s best for our clients and employees and how we can do better everyday.

Dan, I feel so blessed to be a very small part of you organization. You are such a amazing person and look up to you as a mentor. When ever I speak to potential clients I talk about what we do and it is these type of things in addition to the efficiency in which Gold Star operates that set you apart that is hard to find these days.

Thank you again for the tailgating party on Saturday. It was great to see you and everyone else out side of the office setting. I have not worked for a company that shows their appreciation for their employees in quite a long time. I know I say this all the time but I love being part of Gold Star. When I say I work for Gold Star to realtors and title companies that there is a respect that comes with it. I hear it all the time from our Business partners, “Oh, we love dealing with Gold Star people”. At the end of the day we are always sure to get the deal done, leaving the realtor, and most importantly the client happy and secure with their experience.

“All we are waiting for is the appraisal.  I would guess we will get it today or tomorrow.  Good news on your rate—Flagstar (the bank we are going to sell your loan to) offers a float down policy so if rates get better, I can float down your rate.  Yesterday, I floated your loan to 5.125%!”

I wanted to take a moment to let you know of a tremendous job being done by Goldstar Underwriting and Processing.

I received a file late in the stages of the purchase contract (Pies). The borrower was given an extension on the condition of a considerable escrow deposit – $100,000. This was placed in escrow and we started to originate the file. A loan commitment was due on the purchase contract on August 8th or the escrow deposit would be fought over.

I just wanted to thank you again for entrusting us to be part of the Gold Star family! It is nice to know that all I have to worry about is bringing loans through the doors while our corporate office is doing the necessary steps to ensure our success in the future.
